Remember Garrick, the school committee "ran out of money" (sound familiar?) and we don't actually own the solar panels, so "net zero" does not mean a reduction in that electric bill (nearly 3/4 million dollars in the one instance where I managed to get real numbers). But thanks for keeping this issue in the "town consciousness." This issue IS relevant for the Community Center, since clearly they are already overspent and have not even begun, this means that the town may not own the solar panels for it either. These kinds of annual electric bills (which only go up, never down) mean the town could use one years electricity cost to build a house and GIVE it to a starting family!
