The Lincoln Garden Club invites anyone interested in joining the club to come to a Lemonade in the Park party on September 7th at 3pam. It’s an opportunity to meet some of our members and socialize. Committee chairs will be there to answer questions about what the club does. Please contact me at [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> to RSVP. If you can’t attend the party but are interested in joining the club you can visit our website or contact me for more information. Lincolngardenclub.org
What does the Garden Club do? We are a service oriented social club. We have guest speakers on diverse topics from Living Soils to Hedgerows. We maintain Station Park and Morningside Park as well as planters around town. Twice a year we assemble and deliver flower arrangements to people in need of some cheer. We take local field trips and visit gardens further afield. We have workshops on everything from lichens to starting native seeds. We contribute funds to support projects such as tree planting and children’s garden beds. The garden club is what its members make it. We welcome new ideas and the club evolves with club members' interests. Joining the club is easy, just fill out our online form and send in your dues. You can expect a call from me about the club’s schedule and we can set you up with a mentor to get you oriented in activities that interest you. Belinda Gingrich
