I live on Lexington Rd and drivers going towards Route 2 often drive over the speed limit of 25 miles/ hr . Going the posted speed limit will get you to work on time and also allow you time to brake for dog walkers, bikers and your Lincoln neighbors. Please slow down.
Dog walkers who use the cemetery on Lexington Rd for exercise please Leash your dog. The rules are stated on the sign at the entrance and also apply to the hiking trails . I had a bad experience today with an unleashed dog confronting mine and no one to pull it back from an attack. My screaming scared it away. Aggressive dog…German mix. Mine.. small terrier mutt. Possible outcome could have been bad for all involved, including me. The rules are there for a reason. To keep us all safe. Also. Please ! Carry a bag and pick up the poop. Our Lincoln loved ones and friends are buried in the cemetery and deserve your respect. They served the community. They worked here for you.
