Volunteers Needed – Agriculture Commission

The Mandate of the Agricultural Commission is to protect and promote Lincoln’s
agricultural heritage. It supports farms of all sizes and fosters a thriving
environment for the town’s agricultural community.

The Select Board is seeking two interested volunteers to serve as At-Large
members on the Lincoln Agriculture Commission beginning in Fall 2025 with terms
expiring in 2028.

The Commission is looking for Lincoln residents who have an interest in
farming, livestock, and land use. We welcome applicants with a mix of
agricultural experience, planning skills, familiarity with outreach and
communication, and a passion for serving the town through open and thoughtful
civic engagement. We acknowledge the unique combination of skills and
experience each person would bring to the Agricultural Commission. If you are
interested, we invite you to apply and contribute to advancing the Agricultural
Commission’s mission.

Time commitment is a minimum of 4 hours a month; this includes an hour-long
evening meeting once a month via Zoom; tasks to be accomplished are assigned
between meetings.

The Town of Lincoln believes that board and committee diversity strengthens
performance, integrity, trust, and partnerships with our staff, community, and
guests.

Letters of interest and a volunteer
