Join us at Codman Community Farms next week for Fall Cleanup - the Easy
Ecological Way on Thursday, October 23rd from 4:30pm-5:30pm in the
Education Pavilion.

Some yard “clean up” chores that we are accustomed to practicing every fall
strip away the resources that soil life, insects, birds, and other animals
need to survive winter. By skipping a few common practices, you will build
healthy soils through natural decomposition processes and provide food and
shelter to at-risk and endangered animals.

Join ecological gardener Diana Rice-Sheahan (and founder of Monarch Meadows
) <https://monarch-meadows.org/> as she shares advice on putting your
gardens to bed for the winter. Diana will give advice on what to skip and
how to use fallen leaves, twigs, and hollow stems to support biodiversity
in your own yard!

Class takes place at Codman Community Farms in the Education Pavilion -
