Friends, We are pleased to invite you to participate in a global internet seminar on Biodiversity Conservation and Use. This discussion, starting on June 26 and sponsored by the Environment and Natural Resources Division of the World Bank Institute, will push forward the present dialogue on biodiversity conservation, focusing on the role of biodiversity in poverty alleviation. The objective is to invite individuals and organizations from all sectors to participate in the ongoing public consultations on biodiversity conservation. Subsequent training activities will then build upon the directions and priorities emerging from this e-discussion. The discussion will follow the format of a face-to-face seminar, consisting of a plenary at the beginning, three parallel breakouts, and concluding with a final plenary to wrap up. A panel of international experts will help guide and moderate these discussions. Please join us in cyberspace and share your experiences, knowledge and ideas across the globe!!!
