hi list,

i'm having an urgent problem. hope anyone can help.
i'm developing an interface that talks with several others applications using FlashXML-sockets, which goes very well. but now we're adding a web-interface, and i have trouble getting the the XML-socket to listen to very simple server written in php. The php-server seems to work fine when testing with telnet, but the XMLSocket doesn't recieve the sent XML right. if XML is sent initially, i only recieve that after sending something to the server.. it looks like the XMLSocket is waiting for an RETURN or NULL before it dumps it's buffer, but i don't have so much experience with the XMLSocket, let alone the combination with php.

does anyone understand what i'm talking about, and recognize the problem?

thanks

currently stressing for a deadline, and running into a frustrating problem;

my director app. is almost finished.
it's an interface to other software which renders live audio and video, in a configuration of 4 computers.
3 of them run the interface plus a preview-render app.
1 of them if the final render machine, which composits all video and audio.
