I have a completed project in flash that lets users pick a background image and add their own text, images etc. This is a web based project but its now required to do a high resolution cd-rom version for printing. Our client wants to make it as difficult as possible for people to steal the hi-res background images, so I'am thinking of creating garbled images in director with an XOR routine as I have seen sugested in previous posts. The problem for me is that as the bulk of the work has already been done in flash I would like to embed the flash movie in a director movie and edit the flash movie to load the image cast member from director once it has been XOR'd back to its original state. Can this be done ? But my current experiments with it stopped at applying the flash blur filter to a director image object.. Can this be done ? hi lee, yes, this could be done using the flash 8 asset xtra and its convert() function. check out page 17 ff of http://www.adobe.com/support/director/flash_8_asset_xtra.pdf cheers, valentin ------------------------------ [To remove yourself from this list, or to change to regular (non-digest) mode, go to http://www.penworks.com/lingo-l.cgi To post messages to the list, email lingo-l@penworks.com (Problems, email [EMAIL PROTECTED]).
