I may have missed it somewhere, but has anyone suggested BudAPI's baLogin() for this instead of MUI? I think it was included with version 3.6.
Password encryption aside, try as you might, you won't get a satisfactory result with masking passwords using MUI on Windows or Mac (if anyone has, I'd love to see it). For that reason, I suggested a baLogin() BudAPI method, and Gary Smith turned it around in about a day.
