When a Director exe file opens that has an embedded font within it, that font is decompressed and stored temporarily in the windows system folder. In Windows 2000 for instance, users that are not either power users or Administrators do not (by default) have write access to this folder. If this is the case the embedded font cannot be used and any old default font is substitued with the obvious disasterous effects like wrapping in the wrong place and the difference in size, kerning etc making a decent project look somewhat worse than crap!
Is there any way around this??....Other than not embedding that font.
