It's inferred that a quitting projector is closing and forgetting its resources. ;) That said, I've had problems in the past with MIAWs playing video that cause system hosage when the MIAW is closed without first pausing the video (Win only). So it's probably a good idea, yeah, to close a window before you take its app offline.
