in fact almost everything in the debug window is "void"
except "me", and "g3d"

My experience with director tells me that this is most probably a very very
very simple error on my part, which I will be stuck on for a week or so,
tearing my hair out, then someone will point me in the right the direction
and everything will be fine again.

So, who's good at pointing, and directions?
