>How do I write my program?

Ok, let *me* be a bit more specific ^_^

I'm not trying to be mean-spirited, but your question is just too broad and
vague. I don't have time to write your program for you, and I doubt anybody
else will (unless you're willing to pay).

If you post a question like "how do I write my program," you'll get the
obvious answer--"learn to program."

Or, if we're feeling nice, we might refer you to some good books or Web sites.

I suggest you get a good book, like Bruce Epstein's "Director in a
Nutshell" and "Lingo in a Nutshell." They're cheap, very good, and
up-to-date enough for you. You might have trouble finding them, because I
think one is out of print, but you can always check on Amazon.com for a
used copy.

Another good beginner's book is Warren Ockrassa's "Director 8.5 Shockwave
Studio: A Beginner's Guide."

Frequent the lists, read the posts. You'll learn a lot from other people's
questions. Post *specific* questions.

Read. Practice. And like the ads say, "just do it." You'll make mistakes,
but you'll learn far more from your mistakes than from a year of study.

Good luck.

Cordially,

Kerry Thompson
