Im not sure thath will do what I need...
Im making a pop3 email prg and I want to show the different lines of the
inbox.....like hotmail.........

Any ideas???

Sure, but not with the hilite command. You want to set up a sprite using
a 
text member to have a number of ref (look that up in the manual), then
on 
mouseover/mouseout you set the ref to any color you want.
