the downside to the custom scroll behaviors that ship with Director is that they always snap to the right side of the text box, regardless of where you have them on screen. I advise rolling your own scrolling behaviors. The first time I did it it took a little while to get the bugs worked out, but it was totally worth it. You also learn a lot more than you would otherwise.

Director actually runs those apps on top of the current app. So it seems like there is a hirearchy of what is on the top layer, second layer ect. Please someone correct me if I am wrong. You might want to explore custom scroller functions (kind of like creating your own) but I know director ships with one that will do custom buttons and stuff. > ---------- > From: Sandeep Khomne > Reply To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Wednesday, June 5, 2002 6:38 AM > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: <lingo-l> Text box with scroll. > > > Hi All, > > I have a small question regarding text box with scroll in Director. > > I have a text box [text area] sprite on the stage with scroll box.
