Dunno how to fix it, but this has cropped up for me too. I've been told it's something to do with DirectX - Windows NT only support DirectX as far as v5 (it might even be v3!) but Director has been functions and routines that appeared in the later vesions with every new release (don't know the numbers but I think it version numbers of both DX and Director coincide - DX6 with D6, DX7 ith D7, etc.).
This means that Director's sound routines go a bit funny on machines with DX older than 6 (I've also had Win95 and Win98 boxes running DX3 and 5 respectively have problems with sound from a D7 projector). Now in the case of Win9x you can fix this by upgrading your version of DirectX, but Windows NT will only run as high as DX5, so I'm not too sure what to suggest - try using a different audio device (one of them uses the old Video for Windows system, not DirectX, for wave out). Or at least this is what I've been told - if I'm completely wrong then somebody please tell me!!! Ross _________________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
