Hi everyone,

I hope you can help me, here is what I need to do. I need to have
copy and paste functionality within a projector that talks with the
Windows clipboard. I know this can be done and have found various pieces
of code but my problem is that what I really need to happen is the copy
and paste to work within a flash sprite; this flash sprite is an
external file that has a lot of text fields in it and they are populated
by variables I have set up. I know everything is working fine there
because I can load and save to a file using director and send the
information from director to the flash variables. My main problem really
comes around from the fact that we are still waiting to be able to use
Flash MX files in director, that would actually solve a lot of other
problems I am having to work around as well.
So can anyone point me in the right direction as to how to access the
Windows clipboard using director and then pass that information on to
the Flash variables (problem being there are around 50 + text fields in
the flash sprite so I really didn't want to write code for every single
one, but I have setup a list I can access).
Does this make sense? Thanks in advance for any help you can offer, I
am really stuck on this one with a client wanting answers fast. The
reason I need to copy and paste is so people can spell check the text in
another program like Word or something, and this seems like the quickest
and best option to me at the moment.

Regards and thanks to all,
