i must say that at home i have only d7 installed, and pointToLine is not listed in the printed manual. is it a d8/8.5/mx new feature?
Might be an 8.0 feature, or was just undoc'd with 7 -- try it in a 7.0 script and see if you get an error. ;)
It's in the Lingo menus in 7.02. It's not in 6.5.
That makes sense, as the #text type didn't exist until 7 anyway, so the #text subset of calls wouldn't be present. Apparently it didn't make the paper docs for 7.
