Every spatial/visual track in a QT movie has its own location relative to 0,0, but this only becomes obvious when there is more than one spatial/visual track. (Try playing around with 'Add' in the edit menu and 'size' in the properties dialog of QuickTime Player). With wired actions, all this can be changed. In Director, you can actually 'translate' the QuickTime movie, but the 'view' is always based on the original matrix - i.e. it is cropped. (Look up 'translation' in the Lingo Dictionary).
