but then if i go to the text.dir i can shortly see (half a second) the last frames of my played QT movie.
How can i prevent that.
Try pausing the QT before you navigate to the text movie, or possibly setting its directoToStage to false before navigating there.
I tried that but doesnt helped me. what else can i try.
Hmm. How about going to a different frame in your first movie -- one which lacks the QT sprite -- before navigating to the second? A sort of "clear" frame that lets Director unload the QT sprite? That frame could then contain the code that moves to the other movie.
Does that make sense? I mean rather than going directly to the second movie, you go to a frame that first dumps the QT sprite and *then* navigates to the other movie.
