Custom scrollbars behavior

I need a custom scrollbars behavior and i don't want to use the 
behavior present in director's library 'cause i find not confortable, 
more complex for my scope and very slow on slow computer.
Where i can find a good (and simple) behavior to scroll text member and 
i've the possibility to custom interface elements?
