I was wondering if there is a way to know within a projector if the CD-ROM has the autorun, or autoplay capabilities enabled.
My first guess would be no. That's a system setting. I suppose if you really wanted to you could try reading the user's registry, but that seems like an awful lot of work.
I want to show the user that he can enabled it to start the CD-ROM automatically
Most have this set to on by default. In general those who have autorun turned *off* have done so deliberately, are well aware of what autorun is and does, and have deactivated it specifically because they don't like it. So odds are very good that such a message to such users would not be regarded as helpful or desirable.
