And, yes, I do see a performance hit in doing that. Has anyone done this with better efficiency?
set a flag when you change it & skip checking for that condition since you've already got that condition
AND
use the #text member's .ref property to make a list of the hyperlinked text ranges & then use just check those.
& if this is actually text that was imported from real html, you've got other options.
