Hi guys

I've finally decided that it's time to go MX 2004 and I've found a quirk
that is driving me potty and I just want to make sure that I'm not mad
(hehe...that's an oxymoron:)

Here's what happens:

1. have the stage and the script window opened, but so that there is a
part of the stage on the left visible behind the script window

2. click on the stage to do something...but don't do anything

3. click now on the script window to keep writing your code

Now comes the difficult thing to explain

4. select something in the script window with the mouse from left to
right...now..as I do the selecting bit fairly quickly my mouse normally
ends on the left over the stage, beyond the edge of the script window

5. release the mouse button so you can do something with your selected
code...copy&paste, delete etc

And that's when it happens... the bloody stage jumps in front of the
script window!!!
It's like it's still in focus expecting something to happen and not
noticing that the script window is now in focus. It's fine if the script
window is freshly opened but not when quickly switching from one to
another.

Has anyone encountered a similar behaviour? Is there a way to keep the
script window in a sort of 'modal mode' like it was in Dir 8.5 so it
never goes behind the stage?
Can UI Helper Xtra help (not that I've used it before:)

Thanks

Pedja
