Dear All,

I asked this question B4 but got no help....

My two questions are (I guess) -

1. Is it possible to capture an error message in Shockwave so that it gives
more useful feedback than just SCRIPT ERROR?
2. Does anyone have any general tips / scripts for the sort of loading
scenario detailed below?

I need to try and understand how shockwave handles loading. We have
developed a game with 8 levels. The first couple of frames are loaded in to
present the user with a custom loader (i.e. Streaming is true). When loaded,
the user sees the intro and is asked to use a character - on doing so the
preLoad function is used to load in all media etc. needed for level 1 -
including all additional cast members that might cause it to fall over if
not loaded. However, on a 56k connection it seems to produce a script error
(not using a cable modem). I can only assume that something it requires is
not loaded but I don't know what....

Thanks very much in advance for any assistance,

Sam and the Elektonika team.
