Hi everybody,
First of all, i'd like to say that I'm loving this list. I mean, I started
working with Lingo a month ago (believe it or not, it's my first experience
with programming), and I can sure say that I'm learning a lot with the
messages of the list. Maybe because practically everything is new for me...
anyway, I write my own scripts that substitute the long built-in scripts of
Director... I'm not against the built-in scripts, but writing myself the
scripts gives me a sensation of control of it... if something goes wrong, I
know where to look for the error... so, thanks everybody... the help I get
from this list is great for my learning...
Second... I have a stupid question... but my deadline is soon and I'm tight
in the matter of time to think in how to do that... I need the esc button
to go to a specific .dir (like exit.dir). And I have an exercise in which
I'm supposed to write some text and when I press enter it executes a
behavior... what I have right now is the behavior attached to a button (on
mouseup me), and when I press enter it just jumps to a new line in the text
field...
If some of you could help me, I would thank a lot.. :)
