hi friends,
i finally got the reason for my problem with
my
avi files not playing on every machines.
the reason was that i had compressed my avi files
using adobe premeire application using microsofts mpeg
4 codec .
when i recompressed the avi files using cinepak codec
it now works fine on all the machines.
but still i am not able to find out why mpeg 4
compression works on some machines only.
