I don't think so.  If you have Explorer set as your default browser then
director will open Explorer on a gotoNetPage call.  If you have Netscape set
as your default browser then director will open Netscape on a gotoNetPage
call.  We are talking about the default browser, not the default email
program here.  You have to change your settings in your browsers to control
which email application they are opening.  It doesn't matter what you have
set as you default email program.  Director does not look at the gotoNetpage
and say to itself. "Oh this is a mailto, I'm supposed to send this through
the default email program."  No. Director gets a gotoNetpage and opens the
default browser.  The browser then deals with the URL. In this case the URL
happens to be a mailto. Then the browser opens the mail program it wants,
which is not necessarily the default email program.
