hi, i am tryingto set a variable in a flash movie so that the looping flash animation exits the loop and procedes to the end of a the animation (a fade-out). what i am sending form director is setVariable(sprite(the clickOn), "fade", "fadeOut") the addressed flash movie is the one the user has just clicked on, th evariable in flash isa called 'fade' and the value i want to send is 'fadeOut'. the flash movei responds to direct commands like go to this or that frame, but does not want to know about the above line.
