to my knowledge there is no way to discern what it is that you need. the
clipboard functionality currently in Director seems to be pretty limited.
Colin pointed out one of the biggest problems in his previous email about
pasting a sound into the paint window.
I think there would be an opportunity here for an Xtra. something that would
allow the developer to actually use the clipboard to Import & Export things
based on all asset formats currently supported by Director.
