I'm curious

does this command also pause the ticks?

I need this functionality for a countdown timer I have been programming for
a client.

Subject: <lingo-l> question about pause and continue

howdy comrades-

as we all know, pause and continue are supposedly no longer supported.
go the frame and go the frame+ 1 are recommended instead.

but we also all know that they are not the same thing.

it looks like pause and continue do still work in d8. sound pauses and
restarts where it was left off, and so does the movie.

so does anyone want to try to talk me out of using pause and continue in
my d8 shockwave movies?
