there is no backwards compatibility from 8.5 -> 8.0 built into
Director. there was a discussion of this recently on one of the lists
recently (which one ?) which described a possible method of copying
the assets from one to another using both copies of Director connected
via the MultiUserServer. you might search thearchives of Lingo-L &
Director-L. to my knowledge this had not actually been done yet tho.
