in my experience there is no way to eject a CD with a running program
on it. let me rephrase this:

1 - on a PC you can do it but you will definitely get the blue screen
at best
2 - on a Mac the OS won't let you do it.

you are going to have to install the projector on the hard drive &
make sure that the app does not need any assets from the CD or you
will have a problem.

the autorun issue has completely to do with the user's OS settings.
unless you are prepared to disable them, and hopefully re-enable them
later, you can't do anything about this.
