Okay,

Well, no responses.

Anyway. I have a theory.

I was wondering if the puppet sound stops playing because another movie window is
openning and then it works fine the second time because I do not have the MIAW set to
"forget" upon returning to the main menu. So the second time it (the puppeted sound)
doesn' t get interrupted because the MIAW, while not visible, is already open.

Based upon this theory I've tried a couple of work arounds.

1st, I just added the same command to puppet my sound loop (music) in the MIAW. This
works but is not acceptable because it starts the loop over when going to the MIAW.

Second I set the MIAW to open at the beginning of the score and sent it to reside
behind the main movie. I intended to use my sprite script on the button to move the
MIAW in front and then send it back with the OK button in the MIAW.

I didn't get very far however. This caused my main movie to become unclickable and I
couldn't even stop the movie. I had to force quit director to quit .

I'm assuming this is the result of the modal being set to "true" but when I bring the
movie to the front I do want the modal to be set to true.

So, being relatively new to the Lingo scene and not being a programmer, I'm not sure
how to handle this.

Is there anyone who can help me?

PLEEZE! Oh please! O please!
