To answer Your first question about how to create dxr's:
You create Dxr's by "protecting" director movies. The resulting movies will
not be ediatble, so make sure to make DXR's only of copies. Top protect
movies (and find out whether your software will do...) Select,
Xtras->Update, tick "protect"
