What tools/process are you using to create the SWA files? You can
definitely use cuepoints with SWA format. If you take a look at your
Publish Settings dialog, you can even force Director to compress all audio
castmembers not already in SWA or MP3 format into SWA and keep your
cuepoints.
Another alternative you can consider using QuickTime movies with audio and
text (cuepoint) tracks. All of the same Lingo scripting will work with
cuepoints generated by QuickTime movies as with audio files.
