I just read a review of GPT5 used in a coding application.

Five years ago I would have only read such a description in science fiction.

A year ago I would have thought it fictional but possible in a decade.

I think the review is probably true but over-hyped.

Has anybody used it or looked at a range of reviews??

Tony

What is GPTS?

Adelaide University, formed from the University of South Australia &
University of Adelaide, is promoting it's elearning.
https://adelaideuni.edu.au/study/online/

The 'launch from anywhere" campaign appears on a bus shelter down the
road from the universities of Sydney, UTS & Notre Dame. It is a daring
move for one of Australia's leading universities to promote e-learning
and so close to major campuses. Would those a short bus ride from
established universities choose to study online, at a university 1,000km
away?

Isn't that just another economies-of-scale merger - to clear out lots of
duplicate courses, academic staff, admin staff, and costs?

They need to get their bus-shelter messages into Google's catchment.

All I find for 'launch from anywhere", even limiting it to edu.au, and
after all the rocket-related links, is:

Successful launch of 'anywhere, anytime learning' in 2019 with first two
programs of UNSW Online
