On a cynical note, it's probably only a matter of time before Pandora is shut down ... 'economising in the public interest' of course. And such will be the fate of other sites housing documents and pages of interest.
That said, there are so many copies of so many documents, Web pages and other 'trivia' of record that it's hard to imagine significant amounts of public record being 'lost irretrievably' and a multitude of 'well that's not how I remember it' statements being made by the lying, cheating, stealing unethical criminal element (sorry, I meant to say 'Honourable politicians') that govern this country - irrespective of their political denomination. And then there are the Assanges, the Mannings and the Snowdens of this world to prick their self important bubbles ... Hansards of dastardly behaviour, and behind-the-scenes goings on, for 'the rest of us.' Politicians being hoisted on their own petard are a source of great entertainment to me.
