Rachel if I had such a need I'd ask for your expertise in a heartbeat. You're getting great advice here on Link. Just for interest I Googled "IT CONSULTING RATES AUSTRALIA" and, up comes some relevant info also. A quick results-scan seems to say two things.. "one of the most common questions a consulting newbie asks: How much should I charge?" also it looks around $80/hour is one normal ICT level. My mechanic is $70/hour and I have to take the cars to him, and also fit his schedule/timeline. Sure he's a great mechanic, but, basically, only has an apprenticeship. So with your high level knowledge, skills and education $70 may be low? http://www.consultantsconsultant.com.au/pdfs/acg_intro_chapter_1.pdf http://www.flyingsolo.com.au/forums/money-matters/15578-consulting-rates- what-charge.html http://www.lifehacker.com.au/2012/05/what-are-the-hourly-rates-for-it- contractors/ etc, etc .. And also to nail things down this appears a good consultancy agreement? http://www.gunamoi.com.au/hc/HC-StandardConsultancyAgreement.pdf Good luck pal. Only, please don't get too busy and forget Link friends.
