I wonder if charging stations might be a charger pillar with car bays "wagons in a circle" so many cars can be plugged in from an octopus of cables and the charger automatically moves the available supply from one vehicle to the next for rapid recharging. That way a vehicle is not consuming a bay (and cable) if not moved on.
