Hi Tom,
I think your problem is stemming from a flaw in Links at the moment,
the upshot of which is that the l:href attribute simply does not work
in programs that contain client code. If you try changing that
attribute name to l:onclick (wherever you use l:href), I conjecture
that it will work better.
Beyond that, it would be helpful if you could give us a minimal program
that shows the behavior you're seeing. Then we can look at specific
causes.
