Hi, > I think you are having some trouble with Windows 8 here, not with Linphone. > Everything is correct in the logs.
Yes, that's kind of what I think too. I heard that Windows 8 prefers ipv6 to ipv4, so I disabled ipv6, but that didn't change anything. I'll take a look at the firewall and report back after fiddling with it a little. However, a couple things are a little strange. First, charmander (my friend on Windows 8) has reported that he is able to communicate with sip:[email protected] using linphone with no problems. It is only when he communicates with me (also on linphone) that things stop working. Also, charmander has tried using Yate (another SIP/VOIP application) on Windows 8, and that works just fine as well. >From a cursory glance over yate's sources it seems they haven't changed >anything specifically for Windows 8, but I could be mistaken. These two indicators suggest that it isn't just Windows 8 that is misbehaving. > What can be seen is that both sides send their RTP packet stream correctly > but receive nothing: I agree with this diagnosis. It should be noted while the RTP packets aren't reaching their destination, all SIP packets are delivered just fine. > I suggest that you check your firewall configuration. Hint: the port used > for audio RTP stream is UDP 7078. I will report back once I've tried this. > Or the problem may come from the configuration of your NAT. Unwanted port > forwarding maybe? I don't think the NAT has been touched from when it was working, so this shouldn't be it. Thanks for responding. _______________________________________________ Linphone-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/linphone-users
