No, I never worked with the 1.x version. It was a vanilla install from
Google Play in 2x Dec 2012 which worked followed by and install of daily
build from Jan 2nd 2013, then testing other daily build post release of
new version (versions between). So I newer was exposed any TLS setup
I have to look what f-droid exately is (never heard from it before)
