Pinning is not a solution. There is every day autoupdate in precise by default. Most of users will not go to page of each PPA to check if there a some comments. Problem will be observed by user only after update to 3.6.1. And it will be too late for pinning. When update to 3.6.1 is already done - the only way is remove Linphone and reinstall 3.5.2 from somewhere. Warning in comment may be helpful only for new Linphone users. Which come to Linphone PPA page at first time. PPA statistics shows that many users already updated: Package Version Arch DownloadCount liblinphone4 3.5.2-1~precise~ppa4 amd64 514 liblinphone4 3.5.2-1~precise~ppa4 i386 554 liblinphone5 3.6.1-1~precise~ppa2 amd64 261 liblinphone5 3.6.1-1~precise~ppa2 i386 280 liblinphone5 3.6.1-1~raring~ppa4 amd64 115 liblinphone5 3.6.1-1~raring~ppa4 i386 40 6 sep 2013, 20:29 +02:00 от Julius Schwartzenberg <[email protected]>: >> I wrote common info in bug report.
