Hello, Since IOS 10 it is no longer possible to keep registration on while the app is in background (due to Apple battery policy) so in order to receive incoming calls while in background you need to use push notifications. If you use a Linphone account then our server supports sending push notifications and will wake the app up when necessary if you use another SIP service you need to make sure it supports sending push notifications and make sure that your account settings enable push notifications.
