Hello, I am runninf Linphone on Xubuntu 16.04.
Although in the "User Interfaces" tab of Preferences, I have language defined to "system Locale", the software is in English (when my locale is French). If I specifically choose the French language, that works: the software is in French. ;-)
Also looking at the calls log ("Previously"), the number are sorted from the oldest ... when usually we are more interested by the most recent ones. With quite a long usage, this is becoming a pain ! !
