Hello Pablo:

Thank you very much for your answer.

I have not used Sypnaptic or any other package manager, I am making a
compilation as indicated in the information given by
https://www.linphone.org/technical-corner/linphone and the README.md file to be
able to reach have the set of libraries in open source of Linphone and be able
to use them to make their own developments as an exercise.

Finally I have managed to make a complete compilation and launch the
application, not as root but as a system user, and I am already preparing the
integration of the libraries in IDE.

Best Regards.

Buenas Miguel,

I am not sure the problem you have, but I can tell you that I am using a Debian
OS (Debian GNU/Linux 8 (jessie) 64-bit)) with Gnome and I didn't have to
compile Linphone, I just use "Synaptic" to look for it and installed from there
and works.

Did you try to installed from Synaptic or other Package Manager?

Hope that helps.

Good luck!

Hi all.

I send you this email with a query in case someone has encountered this problem
and could help me.

I have successfully compiled a version of Linphone on Linux-Debian with a Gnome
desktop environment, but when I try to launch it, it sends me the following
warning and it does not run:

~linphone-desktop/OUTPUT/desktop/bin/linphone

QML debugging is enabled. Only use this in a safe environment.

“Cannot connect to the D-Bus session bus.”

Does anyone know what it means and how to correct it?

Thank you very much and greetings.

Miguel J. Lopez.
