Hi everyone,

The Free SIP service web pages are currently not working:
https://www.linphone.org/freesip/home
Creating or managing a sip.linphone.org SIP account from linphone.org web
site is the not possible.
Doing this from apps still works as expected. The SIP service itself (for
already registered users) is not affected.
We apologize for all the inconvenience and do our best to recover
by exploring different options.
For those who are interested in technical details, we are facing an issue
that numerous web sites or services are facing since May 30th, let 's call
it the "AddTrust root certificate expiry issue".

It is a somewhat complex TLS certificate validation problem triggered by
the recent expiration on May 30th of a root certificate. Some of you
running old or not so old (such as Centos 7) versions of GNU/Linux
(actually with openSSL 1.0.x) may even not be able to connect to
linphone.org with https.

For those who are interested in the details, this web page
<https://www.cmu.edu/iso/service/cert-auth/addtrust.html> brillantly explains
the technical details of this problem.

Best regards,

Simon
