The command line to use is:
|linphone "call sip-address=||/telephone_number_or_sip_address/||"|
Substitute your AppImage filename, or a link to it (mine is simply
|linphone|) for |linphone.|
Substitute the number or sip address you call, for
|/telephone_number_or_sip_address/|.
Done.
