Hello, I tried using LinPhone on my Android device to make calls through a voip provider. I tried to call two different people, using each of UDP, TCP and TLS. In all cases, when the call was answered by the remote party, nothing could be heard by either of us. The only difference between the two calls was that I could hear the remote phone ringing in my earpiece for one of the numbers, but not for the other.
The technician with my Voip provider also had me try to connect over both WiFi and mobile data. There was no difference. The next thing the technician suggested was to try a different VOIP/SIP application. I tried GSWave. The calls worked immediately. Aside from occasional echo, the sound was very good on both ends. I'd rather use Linphone. My Voip provider is not willing to help debug this any further. Do you have any ideas why there isn't any sound when calling with Linphone? Anyone willing to help debug? Thanks, -- Znoteer [email protected] _______________________________________________ Linphone-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/linphone-users
